About this site
Paradise is a wall and reef site along the Sinai coast near Sharm El Sheikh, reached by boat from the Sharm el-Sheikh area with access to the Strait of Tiran and the wider Ras Mohammed region nearby. It runs over a reef bottom to a maximum depth of around 50 metres, and is generally rated a beginner dive despite that depth range. Trevally and tuna are regularly seen along the wall, and divers have also reported barracuda, eagle rays, manta rays, Napoleon wrasse, turtles, octopus, scorpionfish, lionfish, frogfish, nudibranchs, unicornfish, wrasse, and glassfish here. Some divers have also noted excessive depth and strong currents as hazards at the site, worth keeping in mind given the beginner grading.
