About this site
Temple is a reef dive site along the coast near Sharm El Sheikh, on the Sinai peninsula where it meets the Red Sea, typically reached by boat from the town's marinas along a shoreline known for its fringing reefs. It is a beginner site with light current and good visibility, reaching a maximum depth of around 15 metres over a reef bottom. Lionfish and stonefish are a regular sight here, and divers have also reported grouper, moray eels, octopus, parrotfish, scorpionfish, nudibranchs, and even the occasional manta ray.
