Passe de Saziley Nord lies off the southeastern coast of Mayotte, in the Mozambique Channel, near the Saziley peninsula on the island's less developed southern shore. The pass cuts through the barrier reef that rings the lagoon, a common feature along this stretch of coastline. Divers here have reported a range of reef fish typical of these channel passes, including brown tang, elegant unicornfish, humpnose bigeye bream, Indian bullethead parrotfish, Indian gold-ring bristletooth, lined bristletooth, longbarbel goatfish, and twospot bristletooth.
