Pedra do Leao lies along the rocky coastline near Sesimbra, a fishing town in the Setubal district on Portugal's Atlantic coast southwest of Lisbon. This stretch of coast, characterized by rocky outcrops, is a common departure point for boat dives along the Arrabida and Sesimbra shoreline.
