About this site
Turneffe Atoll sits east of Belize City, the largest of the country's three coral atolls, enclosed by a mangrove-lined lagoon and fringed by outer reef walls. Permit Paradise is a named reef site along this atoll, reached by boat from lodges on the atoll itself or day trips out of Belize City or San Pedro. The site reaches a maximum depth of about 18.3 metres and is rated an intermediate dive.
