Sayonara Wreck

Turneffe Atoll sits east of Belize City, the largest of the country's three coral atolls, ringed by a barrier reef enclosing a shallow lagoon of mangroves. The Sayonara Wreck lies along this atoll's reef system, reached by boat from the small cayes and dive operations based on Turneffe itself or from mainland Belize. It rests on a wreck bottom to a maximum depth of about 15.2 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported angelfish, lobster, parrotfish, and triggerfish around the structure, along with a deteriorating hull and areas of sediment to watch for while moving through the site.
