About this site
Pixie Pinnacle is a coral bommie on the Great Barrier Reef's Ribbon Reefs, off far north Queensland, typically accessed by liveaboard out of Cairns or Port Douglas. The pinnacle rises from the seabed with a swim-through chimney feature that divers can ascend through, its walls lined with soft corals and reef fish. It reaches a maximum depth of around 15 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have also reported sea turtles and stingrays around the site, alongside the usual reef fish life on the walls.
