About this site
Playa Flamingo sits on the southwest coast of Lanzarote, near the resort town of Playa Blanca in the Canary Islands, facing out toward the channel separating Lanzarote from Fuerteventura, with volcanic rock formations typical of the coastline nearby. The reef here reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported barracuda, grouper, nudibranchs, and stingrays over the reef.
