Power Station

Power Station is a well known dive site along the Aqaba coast of Jordan, named for the nearby electric plant that stands onshore next to the entry point. The site sits on the Gulf of Aqaba, part of the northern Red Sea, and is typically reached directly from shore rather than by boat. Rather than a simple sloping reef, the site is built around a wall that drops to a maximum depth of around 200 metres, making it a technical dive despite the generally light current. Divers have reported grouper, nudibranchs, and wrasse along the wall, along with the excessive depth and surge that come with diving a drop-off of this scale.
