Pygmy's House lies within the Maratua atoll in the Derawan archipelago, off the coast of East Kalimantan, Indonesia. It is a reef dive reaching a maximum depth of around 30 metres, rated a beginner site, with good visibility typical of this part of the Coral Triangle. The name points to pygmy seahorse sightings, a common draw across sites in this region. Maratua and the surrounding Derawan islands are usually reached by boat from small dive operations based on the atoll itself.
