Racha Noi

Racha Noi lies south of Racha Yai island off the coast of Phuket, Thailand, a short boat trip further out than the more commonly visited Racha Yai sites. It reaches a maximum depth of around 12 metres, is rated a beginner dive, and generally offers light current with great visibility over a reef bottom, though some divers have noted stretches of strong current and down current here. Manta rays are a regular sighting on the reef. Divers have also reported a wide range of other life, including eagle rays, stingrays, leopard sharks, whale sharks, barracuda, sweetlips, snapper, trevally, and smaller reef residents such as clownfish, nudibranchs, mantis shrimp, ornate ghost pipefish, and seahorses.
