About this site
Ras Lima sits along the Musandam Peninsula, the mountainous finger of Oman that juts into the Strait of Hormuz between the Gulf of Oman and the Persian Gulf. The headland's steep limestone cliffs continue underwater along this rugged coastline, typically accessed by boat from dive operators based in Khasab. The reef here reaches a maximum depth of around 25 metres and is considered a beginner site. Divers have also reported nudibranchs, snapper, and trevally on the reef.
