About this site

Sairee Reef sits off Sairee Beach on the west coast of Koh Tao, an island in the Gulf of Thailand within Surat Thani province. It is a shallow bay area easily reached directly from the beach, making it a common spot for shore entries near the island's main tourist strip. The site tops out at around 12 metres and is rated a beginner dive, with nudibranchs a regular sighting on the reef. Divers have also reported barracuda, batfish, fusilier, lionfish, pufferfish, scorpionfish, seahorses, snapper, and trevally here.
