Sakina lies off Zanzibar Island in Tanzania, along the coast bordering the Zanzibar Channel of the Indian Ocean, and is dived as a wall site typically reached by boat from towns along the island's western or southern shore. It reaches a maximum depth of around 40 metres and is rated an advanced dive. Divers have reported fusiliers, lionfish, scorpionfish, stonefish, triggerfish, and unicornfish along the wall.
