About this site
San Clemente lies along the leeward coast of Cozumel, an island off the eastern Yucatan Peninsula in Quintana Roo, Mexico. This part of the island's coastline is part of the broader reef system that runs along Cozumel's western shore, typically accessed by boat from San Miguel de Cozumel. The site sits over a reef bottom with a maximum depth of around 15 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have also reported moray eels here.
