Sandycove is a small coastal village on the southern shore of Dublin Bay, in County Dublin, best known for the Forty Foot bathing spot near the Martello tower at Sandymount. The shoreline here is rocky, facing out into the Irish Sea toward Dun Laoghaire harbour just to the west.
