About this site
Sanur sits on the southeast coast of Bali, facing a shallow reef flat and lagoon protected by an outer reef break. It is a long-established beach town near Denpasar, with dive and snorkel boats launching from the beach out to the surrounding reef area. The dive site here reaches a maximum depth of around 25 metres over a reef bottom, with light current and good visibility, making it a beginner-friendly dive. Divers have reported clownfish, grouper, nudibranchs, parrotfish, scorpionfish, and trevally on the reef.
