About this site
Saxe Point is a small waterfront park on a rocky point in Esquimalt, part of greater Victoria on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, facing the Juan de Fuca Strait. The shoreline here is characteristic of the strait's exposed, rocky coast, with access to the water from the park grounds. The dive site drops off as a wall reaching a maximum depth of around 152.4 metres, and is rated technical. Divers have reported steep drop offs, deep water, and extreme depth here, along with sightings of octopus along the wall.
