About this site
This freshwater wreck dive in Lake Michigan features a well-preserved wooden barge resting at 60 feet. The structure remains intact, offering easy penetration for divers. Schools of bass and perch hover around the wreck, while crayfish scuttle along the deck. Visibility ranges from 20-40 feet, with cold water temperatures even in summer. The shallow depth makes it accessible for most divers, with occasional mild currents. The wooden beams and hull provide interesting textures to explore.
