About this site
The Seaventure Dive Platform sits off the Kalimantan Timur coast, in waters near the Malaysia-Indonesia maritime border in the Celebes Sea region, close to Sipadan. It is a converted structure resting on the seabed rather than a sunken ship, reaching a maximum depth of 18 metres and rated a beginner dive with good visibility over a wreck bottom. The understructure and pilings make it a spot for muck-style critter hunting, and divers have reported frogfish, leaf scorpionfish, mantis shrimp and nudibranchs among the growth encrusting the platform.
