About this site
The Severence Wreck lies off the Queensland coast in the waters of the southern Great Barrier Reef region, reached by boat from the nearby coastal towns. Divers have reported reef manta rays and tiger sharks passing through the site, though these sightings are not a guarantee on any given dive. As with other wreck sites along this stretch of coast, access is by boat rather than shore entry.
