About this site
Three Pyramids lies off the Queensland coast, in the vicinity of the Bunker or Capricorn Group island chains that dot the southern Great Barrier Reef near Lady Elliot and Lady Musgrave. This part of the reef sits well offshore from the mainland towns of Bundaberg and Gladstone, reached mainly by boat charters running out to the outer reef systems. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 31 metres and is rated an advanced dive. Divers have also reported lobster and wobbegong sharks around the site.
