About this site
Shab Samir Anoor is a reef site off Qesm Hurghada, along the Red Sea coast of Egypt's Red Sea Governorate, within the stretch of offshore reefs typically reached by boat from Hurghada's dive harbor. Divers have reported bluespotted fantail rays, fiveline cardinalfish, halfmoon angelfish, and Indian bullethead parrotfish here, along with Klunzinger's wrasse, sulfur damsels, red sea anemonefish, white-spotted puffers, and Indian lionfish moving among the reef structure. Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins have also been spotted passing through the area.
