Shark Point

Shark Point sits off Perhentian Besar, one of the two main islands in the Perhentian group off the northeast coast of Terengganu, Malaysia, in the South China Sea. The site is reached by short boat trips from the island's resorts and dive centers that operate along this stretch of coast. It is a shallow reef dive to around 5 metres, rated beginner, with good visibility over a reef bottom. Grouper are common here, and divers have also reported barracuda, manta rays, nudibranchs, and triggerfish. Some coral damage from snorkellers has been noted at the site as well.
