About this site

Tanjung Siren sits off Perhentian Besar, the larger of the two Perhentian Islands on the northeast coast of Terengganu in Malaysia, in the South China Sea and reached by short boat rides from the resorts and jetties on the island. It is a beginner site with a maximum depth of around 18 metres. Divers have reported leopard sharks, lionfish, pufferfish, scorpionfish, and stonefish along the site, so care around the bottom is worthwhile even at these shallow depths.
