About this site
Shark Reef lies among the Faichuk Islands in the western part of Chuuk Lagoon, Federated States of Micronesia, an area less frequently visited by dive operators than the main wreck sites further east in the lagoon. The Faichuk group sits across a broad, sheltered lagoon enclosed by a barrier reef, with numerous coral patches and channels between the islands.
