Shark View Point

Cabilao Island sits off the northwest coast of Bohol in the Visayas region of the Philippines, a small island known for the coral drop-offs and reef walls that ring its shoreline. Shark View Point lies along this coastline and is reached by boat from the dive operations based on Cabilao itself, descending over a reef bottom to a maximum depth of around 22 metres. It's rated an intermediate dive, with strong current a defining feature of the site and a hazard confirmed here. Divers have also reported deep walls adding to the current as a challenge. The site takes its name from the sharks divers have reported encountering, including hammerheads, reef sharks and even tiger sharks, alongside jacks, amberjacks, sea turtles and whale sharks passing through.
