About this site
Shavers Rock lies off the coast near Redang or the wider Terengganu archipelago in Malaysia, in the South China Sea. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 15 metres and is generally considered an intermediate dive. Divers have reported strong currents around the rock, so timing a dive here matters. Macro life is a draw, with frogfish, ghost pipefish, nudibranchs, and seahorses all spotted on the site.
