Sherwood Forest is a reef site off the Inhambane coast of southern Mozambique, reached by boat from Tofo and nearby launch points along this stretch of the Indian Ocean. It reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated an advanced dive, with entries typically made as negative entries and strong currents to contend with. Divers have reported grouper, manta rays, surgeonfish, and even whales passing through the area. The coastline here is broadly known for large pelagic encounters, and Sherwood Forest fits that pattern with its mix of reef structure and open-water traffic.
