About this site
A Japanese naval oiler sunk in the 1944 raid, celebrated for the sheer richness of coral and life she has grown — arguably the most beautifully encrusted wreck in Truk. She lies upright from about 12 to 40 metres, shallow enough on top to be draped in soft coral and anemones, with an intact bridge and even a preserved operating theatre inside. For most certified divers, with penetration for the trained.
