About this site
Silver Caves is a cave dive site on Lighthouse Reef, near Long Caye in the Belize District, part of the atoll system off Belize's barrier reef. Lighthouse Reef itself is reached by boat from the mainland or from cayes such as Long Caye, and is known for its clear offshore waters and dramatic reef structure. Silver Caves reaches a maximum depth of around 24 metres over a cave bottom, with swim-throughs and cavern formations typical of the atoll's limestone terrain.
