About this site
The Sound of Mull is the strait separating the Isle of Mull from the Morvern peninsula on Scotland's west coast, connecting the Firth of Lorn to the waters off Ardnamurchan. Its sheltered, deep channel has long made it a route for coastal shipping, and the seabed holds a number of wrecks that draw divers to the area, with Tobermory and Lochaline serving as common shore bases for boat trips.
