Stingray Motel lies along Turneffe Atoll, the large coral atoll east of Belize City that separates the open Caribbean from a shallow lagoon system. The site is reached by boat from resorts on the atoll or from the mainland, and it sits in shallow water with a maximum depth of around 8 metres, making it a beginner dive.
