About this site

Taket Malang is a dive site off Gili Air, one of the three Gili Islands lying off the northwest coast of Lombok in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. The site sits within the channel waters between the islands and the Lombok mainland, over a reef bottom reaching a maximum depth of around 37.5 metres, and is rated an advanced dive. Garden eels are a steady presence here, and divers have also reported barracuda, fusiliers, snapper, triggerfish, moray eels, lionfish, nudibranchs, stingrays, clownfish, and even whale sharks passing through.
