About this site
Kita Todai (北灯台) is a boat-dived reef off Tanegashima in Kagoshima Prefecture, about 45 minutes by boat, with a maximum depth of 10 m. The entry is over sand and the dive rides the current towards the site, where table coral spreads out as far as can be seen. Anemones dotted among the coral hold anemonefish, and schools of surgeonfish pass through without warning. Intermediate and above.
