About this site
Taotoi lies off Moorea in the Society Islands of French Polynesia, within the lagoon and reef system that fringes this volcanic island in the South Pacific, and dive sites along this coast are typically reached by short boat rides from operators based near Cook's Bay or Opunohu Bay. This wall dive reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres and is rated intermediate. Divers have reported strong current and surge here, so conditions can pick up along the drop-off. Napoleon wrasse, snapper, and triggerfish have also been spotted along the wall.
