Tegnue "Cittadella" lies off the coast near Venice, in the northern Adriatic Sea off Italy's Veneto region. The tegnue are outcrops of consolidated rock and biogenic formations rising from the otherwise sandy or muddy seabed typical of this part of the Adriatic, found scattered off the coastline near Chioggia and the Venetian lagoon area.
