About this site
This site lies off Venezia, along Italy's northern Adriatic coast, in the shallow waters where the Tegnue rock outcrops rise from the seabed. The Tegnue are natural reef formations found off the Veneto coastline, near Chioggia, formed from consolidated sediment rather than coral, and they support local diving activity in an otherwise sandy, flat stretch of the Adriatic.
