Tent Reef

Tent Reef lies off the southwest coast of Saba, a small volcanic island in the Caribbean Netherlands known for its steep underwater topography. The site slopes down from shallow coral formations into deeper water along Saba's characteristic pinnacles and walls, an area reached by dive boats operating out of Fort Bay. Saba's marine park protects much of the coastline here, and the surrounding waters are volcanic in origin, with black sand and rocky substrate typical of the island's shores. It is considered a beginner dive, and divers have also reported octopus among the reef's rocky crevices.
