About this site
The Teshio Maru lies in Palau, a wreck site reaching a maximum depth of around 25 metres and generally considered suitable for beginner divers. Divers have reported shell casings and other munitions around the site, and some have noted the possible presence of mines or unexploded ordnance, so care around any metal debris is worth taking. Penetrating the interior has also been described as calling for technical training rather than a casual swim-through, so it is best treated as an exterior dive for those without that background.
