About this site
Tetiaroa is an atoll in the Society Islands of French Polynesia, once the private retreat of Marlon Brando and historically linked to Tahitian royalty, lying north of Tahiti itself. Rimatu'u is one of the motu that ring its lagoon, and dive sites in this area are reached by boat through the atoll's passes. The surrounding waters sit at the edge of the open Pacific beyond the reef.
