About this site
The Steps is a wall dive site along the Tenerife coast in the Canary Islands, an archipelago off the northwest coast of Africa in the Atlantic. Tenerife's volcanic shoreline typically features rocky entries with stone or concrete steps down to the water, giving this type of site its common name in the region. The wall here drops to a maximum depth of around 40 metres and is rated an advanced dive. Divers have also reported barracuda along the site.
