About this site
Turneffe Atoll sits east of Belize City, the largest of the country's three coral atolls, separated from the barrier reef by deep channel water. The Terrace lies along its reef edge, where the shallows give way to a drop toward the atoll's outer wall, with a maximum depth here of around 12.2 metres. Divers have reported wrasse on this section of reef.
