The Twin Sisters

The Twin Sisters sit in the Vatu-i-ra Passage, a channel between Viti Levu and Vanua Levu known for strong currents and soft coral growth, part of the wider Bligh Water region of Fiji. Dive operators running trips out to this site typically launch from northern Viti Levu or from Vanua Levu, crossing open water to reach the seamounts and reef formations scattered through the channel. Divers here have reported a wide range of small reef fish and invertebrates around the site, including eastern triangle and eclipse butterflyfish, Fiji tomato anemonefish, giant moray, longnose filefish, reticulated damselfish, scissor-tailed fusilier, striped eviota, and wolf cardinalfish, suggesting the formations hold plenty of life for those looking closely among the coral.
