About this site
The Zoo lies within the Somosomo Strait reef system between Vanua Levu and Taveuni in Fiji, reachable by boat from resorts on either island. It's rated an advanced dive due to strong currents that sweep through the strait, a hallmark of this stretch of reef. Barracuda are a regular sighting here, and divers have also reported fusiliers, manta rays, nudibranchs, and trevally moving through the site.
