Tinian Grotto is located on Tinian Island in the Mariana Archipelago, part of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands in Micronesia. The island sits just south of Saipan across the Saipan Channel, and its coastline includes limestone karst formations typical of the volcanic and uplifted reef geology found throughout the Marianas.
