About this site

Fleaming is a reef site off Tinian Island in the Mariana Archipelago, south of Saipan, an island better known for its World War II airfields and its coastline of limestone cliffs and fringing reef. Dive boats reach sites like this from small harbors along Tinian's west and south coasts, facing the open Philippine Sea. It's rated a beginner dive, though divers have reported big waves and strong currents here at times, so conditions can shift from what the grade suggests. Lionfish, surgeonfish, and trevally have also been spotted on the reef.
