Tulamben Bay and Wall

Tulamben Bay and Wall sits on Bali's northeast coast, close to the famous USAT Liberty wreck, with a reef wall dropping off the black volcanic sand shoreline typical of this stretch. Shore entries are easy here, and the site reaches a maximum depth of around 12 metres, rated a beginner dive with light current and great visibility over a reef bottom. Divers commonly encounter angelfish, barracuda, bumphead parrotfish, clownfish, ghost pipefish, grouper, lionfish, mimic octopus, humphead wrasse, nudibranchs, octopus, scorpionfish, squid, and trevally. Divers have also reported frogfish, fusiliers, hammerhead sharks, harlequin shrimp, leaf scorpionfish, mantis shrimp, mola mola, moray eels, parrotfish, reef sharks, rhinopias, snapper, surgeonfish, sweetlips, triggerfish, tuna, and whale sharks passing through. Many visitors combine the bay and wall with the nearby Liberty wreck in the same day, given how close the sites sit along this part of the coast.
