About this site
Tzimin-Ha is a cenote system in the jungle near Akumal, on the Yucatan Peninsula in Quintana Roo, Mexico, sitting inland from the Caribbean coast within the region's extensive limestone cave network fed by freshwater aquifers. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 27.4 metres and is rated an advanced dive. Divers have also reported grouper here, though sightings within the cave system tend to be less about fish life and more about the cavern formations themselves.
