West Banks lies off Mnemba Island, a small island and marine conservation area off the northeast coast of Zanzibar, Tanzania, in the Zanzibar Channel of the Indian Ocean. Dive sites around Mnemba are typically reached by boat from the Zanzibar mainland or from Nungwi and Matemwe to the north.
